the 11th Annual Russian River Valley Winegrowers
Grape to Glass weekend, August 18-20, 2006. Tickets
are still available for a myriad of activities
where you will meet the growers, talk with the
winemakers, taste the wines and experience the
beauty at this three-day event in the heart of
Sonoma County?s acclaimed Russian River Valley
appellation.
Friday?s activities include a leisurely bike ride
through the picturesque backroads bordering the
Russian River Valley?s lush vineyards, a Magical
Mystery Bus tour and an evening under the stars
at MacMurray Ranch where you will enjoy a Seafood
Barbecue and Fred MacMurray classics at an outdoor
movie theater.
Meet the passionate growers and winemakers who
create some of America?s most prize winning wines
on Saturday, August 19 at the behind-the-scene
tours followed by the Hog in the Fog Barbecue
with more than 50 wineries, a spectacular barbecue
dinner and silent and live auctions.
Sunday wraps up with lunch and a fun wine and
food pairing seminar with TV cooking personality
and Sonoma County resident Guy Fieri who will
show you how to ?Play with Your Chardonnay? with
some unusual food and wine pairings. The lunch
takes place on the croquet greens at Sonoma-Cutrer
Vineyards as the Wings Over Sonoma County Air
Show happens overhead.
